Child Rearing in Muslim Families from the Perspective of Islamic Family Law: An Analysis of Parental Roles and Qur'anic Values

Parenting in Muslim families is one of the important aspects that affect the moral, social, and emotional development of children. In the perspective of Islamic family law, child care is not only influenced by internal family factors, but also by the principles contained in Islamic law. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence child-rearing in Muslim families, focusing on the perspective of Islamic family law. The research method used is qualitative using a phenomenological approach. Some of the factors identified include the role of parents, religious education, exemplary in practicing sharia, and social and economic support in the family. Islamic family law, which includes parental obligations to children, children's rights, and the principle of justice in education, provides guidelines for Muslim families in carrying out parenting responsibilities. This research also explores the challenges faced by Muslim families in applying Islamic values in parenting, as well as solutions that can be taken to improve the quality of childcare. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide insight for parents, educators, and policymakers in supporting better childcare in the context of Muslim families.
